General: The jetty at 37th Street provides stabilization to attract sand and shortboarders. Broke much better in years past as recent beach renourishment has moved the peak outside the jetties. However, when on, waves dump comparatively hard on either side of the jetty. Tides: Medium to high Size: Waist to head high Wind: N, NW, WNW with swell Swell: S, SE Bottom: Sand. Paddling: Can be tough to stay in position if it is breaking outside the jetty. Spot Rating: Not as good as it used to be, but has its days.
