General: Another one of the numerous groins in Galveston, 43rd can provide some good peaks on both sides. Usually less crowded than several of the other spots on the island. Tides: Medium to high Size: Waist to head high Wind: N, NW, WNW with swell Swell: S, SE Bottom: Sand. Paddling: Can be tough to stay in position if it is breaking outside the jetty. Spot Rating: One of the more consistent peaks on the seawall.
