A shallow bar off the end of a dilapidated pier that may be rebuilt soon. Catches all the sand that’s pumped in at Ocean City. SW winds will bump it up a bit, even though a NE swell is best. Hollow, longer rides either side of the pier.
Consistent and clean at this sometimes crowded spot. Year-round, on-beach parking with the Marmora Wildlife Management Area Coastal Wetlands just to the south.
