Surf: Flying into northern Phuket, check Airport Reef, a long curve of outer reef, 15mins paddle in shallow water, which can have fun drawn out rides. To the north is the long expanse of Mai Khao beach, part of the national park and a good check at low tide about halfway up. Environment: Small bars and restaurants on the beach make it a good day trip option.
