Angjarnsudden is a surf spot located to the north of the Oland bridge. It might take you a bit to get there, but it’s worth checking out if you're in the area. The beach features both sand and some reef breaks, which can add a bit of variety to your session.
The spot works best with a southeast swell, but a big northeast swell can get things rolling too. It can handle swell sizes starting from around 1ft (0.3 meters) up to larger waves, making it suitable for a range of surfers. The waves come in from both the left and the right, which is nice if you like to mix it up. For the best conditions, aim for wind coming from the northwest and try to surf during low, mid, or high tide. Just be aware that the environment can be a bit inconsistent, and you might run into some currents flowing around the tip of the island.
If you’re a beginner, this spot can be a decent place to practice. Just keep an eye out for the uneven reef areas, as those can catch you off guard. Overall, it’s a good spot to get in the water when the conditions align.
