Famous windsurfing spot, but occasionally gets good for surfing. Out front is a shallow beachbreak set-up, fast and hollow. Often closed out. At the south end of the break is a rock outcropping where a hollow right occasionally spins off at low tide. A good S swell nook
Watch for the creek marker along the highway. Park in the dirt lot on the west side of Hwy 1 in front of the cattle gate and hop it to access the beach. Beware of huge elephant seals lounging onshore.
