Surf: Best on N swell and all but the highest tides. Good sandbars form up here regularly, particularly on the south side of the pier, usually providing some good righthanders. Environment: It’s often crowded in the busy parking lot south of the pier, which gives easy access to these consistent waves. Hazards include the usual pier fishermen and the odd high-spirited swashbucklers, who congregate here for a few drinks.
