Best on N swell and all but the highest tides. Good sandbars form up here regularly, particularly on the south side of the pier, usually providing some good righthanders.

It’s often crowded in the busy parking lot south of the pier, which gives easy access to these consistent waves. Hazards include the usual pier fishermen and the odd high-spirited swashbucklers, who congregate here for a few drinks.
