Surf: Between Batu Karas and Pangandaran, the road passes a string of beachbreaks such as Batu Hiu. This area is plagued by really strong currents, onshore winds and the waves generally close-out too much to bother getting wet, however the sandbanks tend to improve in the wet season. Environment: Inconsistent and empty.
