Beatons is a grinding left pointbreaks with a mix of barrels and walls over rocky reef in S swells and NE winds.
From Invercargill head noth on North Road State Highway 6 out of town and turn left onto Wallacetown Lorneville Highway State Highway 99. Continue through Wallacetown and Riverton, then turn left onto Pahia-Wakapatu Road, then turn right onto Garden Road. Continue to the end of the road and find a park. From here its a walk across the paddock out to the point, You must ask the farmer for permission to cross his land for access to the beach.
