Biologia surf guide

Surf: North of the city's port, Playa Grande is renowned for its consistency and has several breaks where contests are regularly organised. Next to the northern jetty, a regular current takes you to Biologia's line-up. This left breaks off the tip of the jetty and works particularly well with a NE swell and will be offshore with summertime’s frequent W/NW winds. Rights break back towards the rocks and there can be right off the end into the next bay, depending on swell direction. Can get really hollow on lower tides. Environment: Absolutely always crowded when smaller, but a bigger E swell will leave it for the chargers.
