Legendary, rare, sketchy left reef in the mouth of the Tyne River. Sheltered by the two piers built to protect shipping entering the harbour the swell needs to be a monster NE or straight E to get in. Shallow, heavy, polluted and in a busy sea lane, so it's not a wave for the feint-hearted.
