More about Bondi Beach surfspot

Australia's most famous beach is a bit of let down in the wave department. The south end is always bigger but starts to close out as the waves go overhead. The north end is perfect of beginners and there are literally thousands of them. SE-S swell goes straight in and any N wind is fine. High tide may hold up the shoulders a bit longer.

A writhing mass of humanity throughout the year since Bondi is on every tourist and backpackers itinerary. Pollution, bluebottles and expensive parking are not on the brochures.
