Boulters Bay surf guide

Surf: In the small cove at the west end of Fitzroy, Boulters (or Boulders) Bay collects lefts and rights down its extremities with super-fun walls for all abilities and the local mal brigade. Not really a pointbreak as the river has deposited boulders a fair way out. Higher tides and any S wind. Directions: From New Plymouth city centre head east on Devon Street east, then turn left onto Hobson Street, then turn right onto Buller Street and find a park. Environment: Easy parking in front of the bay that is also called East End Beach. Masses of large driftwood logs mixing with the fibreglass logs.
