General: Breezy Point is a quiet little enclave at the very beginning of Long Island, just west of Rockaway Beach. Breezy Point rarely gets that good, and heavy rips will wear you out. Tides: Low-mid generally best Size: Waist high-overhead Wind: NW to N Swell: SE, ESE, E Bottom: Sand Paddling: Typically mellow, can be tough on big days. Spot Rating: Kinda fickle but the right day can get fun.
