More about Castelo surfspot

General: This stretch of the huge, sandy bay has banks that tend to shift around. Most consistent where there are walkways or cut-throughs in the dunes due to offshores helping sand accumulate. Can be excellent on small to medium sized days but also may close-out when the size picks up. Tides: All tides Size: Waist to head high Wind: NE, E Swell: NW, W, SW Bottom: Sand Paddling: Easy when small, can lack channels as size picks up. Spot Rating: Long, dune backed beach with shifty peaks, can be super fun walls that close-out as tide changes.
