A small, fast, hollow right breaks over shallow reef — where? — in front of the Chart House restaurant, of course. Rock hazards and strong shoreline currents. Needs a small S-SW swell up to about head high. Requires low tide, the lower the better. Small take-off area, so it can’t handle many surfers. Shortboards only. Beware of the shallow reef and use a leash.
Access is down the cliff next to the Chart House. They won’t let you into the restaurant lot unless you’re dining, so park alongside PCH.
