The waves here work best with medium-sized swells coming from the north or west, handling swell sizes around 5 ft (1.5 m). The left-hander can produce hollow tube sections over an uneven reef, making it more suitable for expert surfers. Typically, the optimal conditions happen with a south wind and a low to mid tide.
