Surf: A short wave with a steep take-off plus the odd dry rock popping up in the face. Looks like a potential goer but doesn’t really do it. High tide only. Plaice Cove to the south can get some very decent beachbreaks on occasion. Environment: Estuary runoff from the salt marshes does show some pollution, and minor ear infections are in the cards if you surf here. Pay parking at North Hampton State Beach.
