A short wave with a steep take-off plus the odd dry rock popping up in the face. Looks like a potential goer but doesn’t really do it. High tide only. Plaice Cove to the south can get some very decent beachbreaks on occasion.
Estuary runoff from the salt marshes does show some pollution, and minor ear infections are in the cards if you surf here. Pay parking at North Hampton State Beach.
