Crazy Left is located just opposite Coxos and is known for its shallow, left reef breaks. While the name suggests a wild ride, it's worth noting that this spot is considerably less consistent compared to its neighbor. It can get crowded with bodyboarders during the more favorable conditions, so be prepared for that if you head out.
This spot really comes alive on a southwest swell, especially at high tide. When conditions align, you can expect some hollow left waves that can be a lot of fun. It handles swell sizes up to 4ft (about 1.2 meters) and generally works best with an east wind. The wave breaks over uneven reef, which can add some challenge, so it's recommended for expert surfers looking for a good session.
While it has its moments, Crazy Left isn't the most consistent spot out there. It mainly works with southwest and northwest swells, so you might find yourself waiting for the right conditions. If you catch it at the right time, though, it can offer some nice rides among a mix of local surfers and bodyboarders.
