The waves here are mostly small and can handle swell sizes starting at about 1ft (0.3 meters). The ideal swell direction is from the east, but it can also pick up some decent waves from the northeast and southeast. You’ve got beach breaks here that deliver left and right waves, though they rarely get to head-high, and most of the time, it's pretty junky. The best conditions show up with west winds, and you can catch a few rides at low, mid, or high tide. It’s a good spot for beginners to practice, but don’t expect to be wowed.
Since Crazy's is not on the radar for most surfers, you’ll enjoy the lack of crowds. A more relaxed experience can make up for the less-than-stellar wave quality, so if you're into a chill surf session with room to maneuver, it could be worth a visit.
