General: A coral reef runs outside the pier, and good winter swells and hurricane swells send powerful lefts reeling back toward the pilings, while a few rights break against the grain. There also is a good inside sandbar on the north side that works on windswells. Tides: Low and incoming Size: Chest-high to overhead Wind: WNW, ENE Swell: NNE, SE Bottom: reef and sand Paddling: Breaks pretty close to the beach. Spot Rating: Pretty average spot overall. No one is driving here solely to surf this spot.
