Surf: A small, boulder reef/peak in Shelter Cove. A long, steeply twisting mountain road to get here. The most popular spot in the Cove. Best during an incoming tide. Blows offshore with N wind. S swells do get in, transforming the peak into lined-up walls that shoot all the way to the black sand. Park at the boat ramp and walk down the beach to the knoll. Gets semi-crowded. Environment: Unfriendly, marijuana-growing locals and big white sharks.
