Shark-infested beachbreak boasting a non-fatal surfer attack in October 1996. Shifty sandbars, sometimes mushy, sometimes hollow, but always sectiony. Usually smaller than northside Point Reyes and Sonoma’s Salmon Creek. Best with higher tides and due W swell.
Currents can be strong running through the deeper darker gullies between peaks - not for the nervous. Pay $7 to enter the private car park here.
