One of the reasons to come here is to score Doot Poktoy, incredible, fast rights barrelling over 300 meters of gravel sandbank at Lanuza Rivermouth. Low tide will be tubular, while high tide will be less intense but still a lot of fun. It has been compared to a reverse Mundaka in power and shape but it’s even more fickle. Needs a big typhoon swell out of the ENE and all the sand to have built up on the north side of the rivermouth.
Will only be crowded if it breaks when the Nov contest is on.
