Dudley Beach surf guide
Surf: Inside the Glenrock State recreation Reserve, Dudley Beach is an oasis of green from the urban beaches and while it may not be as popular as some other Newcastle beaches, it can sometimes deliver equally picturesque lefts running down the banks in NE swells. The southern end point is an option in E-S swells, getting dangerously shallow and hollow on low tides.
Environment: Lower crowds especially if you walk up from the carpark. Beginners beware of rips and holes as it gets overhead.
