Another spot to hold stormy conditions is Eagle’s Nest, 8km (5mi) from Inverloch, whose long slow rights can imitate a decent Torquay right pointbreak in big S swells and NW winds. More flat wall than pitching lip making a good place for improvers to get some length of ride.
Not too hazardous with rips and rocks, but definitely needs an incoming tide to be any good.
