Much hyped righthand reef that is consistent but rarely epic. Can be perfect, world-class tubes but normally a long, whackable wall. W swell and low tide is best.

General: Long right reef with several sections that break at different tides and swell. Tides: Low to High Size: Chest high to well overhead. Wind: S - SE Swell: W-N Bottom: Reef. Sometimes sharp and uneven. Paddling: Not a long paddle out but can be long paddle backs on a good day. Spot Rating: Consistent, although changing wave. Lots of different parts. Has power without being too scary.

Intermediate to advanced.

Parking in front of wave. No rubbish bins. Be prepared to take any rubbish with you.

Autumn, Winter, Spring.

Crowd Factor: Easy access and relatively heavy surf traffic from other nearby waves make for busier lineups on better days. Local Vibe: Mellow crowd. However tension exists sometimes as spots nearby are more sensitive.

Park overlooking the wave. Crowd and reef are hazards. There are plenty of alternatives in the immediate vicinity.

Agricultural runoff after heavy rains.

Sharp reef with foot snagging holes. Rocks washed in on reef from big swells. Strong rips when big. Do not surf above 6'.
