Considerada una de las mejores derechas de Europa, El Confital se encuentra en uno de los entornos naturales mas bonitos de Gran Canaria. Existe localismo pero no es tan duro como tiempo atrás. Lugar de celebración del circuito WQS.Un paraje natural recientemente recueperado para la ciudad de Las Palmas, años atrás esta zona era una zonal marginal muy poco recomendable. El actual problema es la amenaza de la especulación urbanística.
