Surf: El Parédon is very consistent and popular with both local and foreign surfers, because the black sandbanks hold solid barrels on any S swell at higher tides. Rips get mad as the tide drops out and it's not for beginners above headhigh. Environment: Surf camps have set-up in this fishing community, that lies on the east side of the Canal de Chiquimulilla.
