In clean smaller swells, Ethels can produce intense barrels over a slabby reef in front of the beached shipwreck. Rights are shorter and less coveted than the real sucky left but there are more rights opposite. It’s often too rippy and disorganised, with horrible clean-up sets, but when it’s on, it’s a crowd magnet!
