Surf: Among the many spots along the Cap Corse this one benefits from good swell exposure, gorgeous surroundings and beach-side parking. A band of reef holds the swirling sands and cuts down on close-outs at the north end peak. Directions: N of St Florent Environment: With straight access from Bastia, many surfers from the city prefer to drive here than surf between the rocks of Miomo on the east side. North of Farinole, cliffs and steep angle, stony beaches reduce the possibilities of good surf, but the deep bays and harbour towns can sometimes hold a wave in lumpy onshore swells.
