Farmland is a surf spot that features a mix of boulders and sand, making it a unique place for surfers. The access is via a dirt track, so be prepared for a bit of a trek. The beach itself offers a long stretch, with a quality peak tucked away in the corner, providing some shelter from the northern winds.
This spot mainly works best with a northwest swell, which helps it handle sizes starting from about 1 foot (0.3 meters). The waves usually break to the right and can be pretty fun for those with intermediate skills. If you’re planning a session, aim for low to mid or even high tide for the best waves. Winds coming from the east are preferred, so keep an eye on the weather before heading out.
While the boulders and surrounding sandy areas create varying conditions, it's important to note that the coast to Ince Burun is steep and rocky, which doesn’t really produce good waves. After heavy rain, the whole area can get tricky to access, so plan your visit accordingly.
