Surf: Fences is the main section of an incredibly long south-facing line of rocks and sand that can join hands and create kilometre long rides. The first Point section can break hollow and faster before settling into a rhythm of snap and cutback through Fences and onto the Cabin end section. All depends on sand and swell direction as to whether you add a zero to length of ride. Directions: From Wanganui head north on London Street, Great North Road, State Highway 3. At Waitotara turn left onto Trent Street, then continue onto Ihupuku Street and onto Waiinu Beach Road, down to the Waiinu beach. From Waiinu Beach either take the track east approx 1km along the beach or walk. Environment: Advanced riders only and shut the farm gates if you drive down the track, otherwise walk from Waiinu Beach
