More about Fish Pass Jetties surfspot

Fish Pass Jetties have silted up and there's no river flow anymore. Provides some wind protection and usually mushy waves, making it a longboarder’s favorite. Prefers lower tides and between the jetties can get a bit steeper,

General: Popular among longboarders in the Corpus Christi area, the Fish Pass jetties provide protection from heavy N or S winds, resulting in waves similar to those at St. Joe's Island -- workable, sometimes long, mushy overall -- on either side. However, the section between the jetties can sometimes start dumping and get hollow on high tides. Tides: High Size: Waist to head high Wind: N, NW or W with swell Swell: S, SE, E Bottom: Sand. Paddling: Staying on the peak near the jetty can be hard on most days due to consistent longshore currents. Spot Rating: A few fun peaks but not as good as some of the other breaks further south.
