More about Fort Point surfspot

A quality left that breaks out in front of the old fort directly beneath the south end of the world-famous Golden Gate Bridge, best during large winter swells on low tide incoming. Sheltered from most wind, its a good, clean hideout when the ocean beaches are too big and/or junky.

Beware of rocks in the line-up, also getting sucked out with the tide into San Francisco Bay. Due to its location close to downtown San Francisco it will be crowded when its on. Plenty of spongers. Free parking, with toilet facilities.
