Frenzies surf guide

Frenzies is a surf spot that’s known for its exposed reef, primarily taking on swell from the North. It’s a shallow break that requires a decent amount of water over the reef to work well. While it can pick up various swells, it tends to get blown out quite easily, which might be frustrating for some surfers. This spot isn't the easiest to access either; it’s only reachable by boat, so plan accordingly if you’re thinking of heading out there.

This wave is best suited for intermediate surfers due to its challenging nature. It breaks right over live coral and is ideal when the swell is coming from the North. However, it also handles swells from the Northwest and Northeast, and can work with swell sizes starting from about 2ft (0.6 meters). For the best conditions, aim for mid to high tide and a southern wind, but be ready for the depth changes as it’s a reef break.

Getting there can feel like quite the trek, especially if you're going solo, but keep in mind that you won’t be totally alone—sharks seem to be a common presence in the waters around Frenzies. So, if you're planning to surf here, keep that in mind and enjoy the ride!
