More about Goat Wash surfspot

Just north of Domoni, Goat Wash is a peaky, punchy and occasionally hollow, black sand beachbreak. A good right appears at low tide, sheltered from S winds by the rocky point. Bambao can sometimes hold a decent fast right at the Tatinga rivermouth, but with many close-outs. The north coast of Anjouan between Mutsamudu and Sima doesn't pick up ordinary swell, but a few boulder reefs may pick up a northern cyclone swell in summer. One thing is for sure - this beautiful island has plenty more spots to discover.

Goat Wash is the most consistent spot with it's S wind protection but suffers in summer Ne'ers.
