Surf: A long stretch of sharky, variable beachbreak, surfable when small and clean. Far off the beaten track, but a lush environment including wild elk. Do not approach them! Expect solo surfing in this medium-consistency area. Check out Fern Canyon at the end of the dirt road leading out here from Hwy 101. Environment: Camping available inside the large Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park.
