Surf: One of the few places in Massachusetts Bay that is offshore in a NE wind. Big NE to E swell will wrap around a jetty giving mainly lefts and peaks further down the beach at mid tides. Sloppy shoulders and lots of cutbacks. Access: Free in winter only Environment: Moderate to low consistency means sometimes crowded conditions. Estuary water flows out here into the surf which can get rippy.
