More about Hawks Nest surfspot

Quality lefts are on the cards when Hawks Nest nets a small to moderate NE swell in light W winds. Hard-breaking and hollow peaks repeat for the 14kms up to Little Gibber which is offshore in N winds. On the south side of Winda Woppa Reserve is Boulders, a top shelf lefthand point that breaks down the rocks inside the entrance to Port Stephens. Humping SE-S swell, any N wind and pushing tide might coalesce into the longest ride in NSW.

Boulders is so sharky, walking back after every ride seems a good idea, despite the nasty rocks.
