More about Headlands surfspot

Temperamental righthander that bends in all swell directions to cook up some sort of barrel over the crescent slab reef. An easier roll-in at higher tides leads to a sudden, sucking bowl section further in that positively gapes in NE swells and often draws dry at low. S swells will wrap in a far more manageable fashion and may cut down on the numbers of bodyboarders looking for the hideous square pits on a NE.

Often crowded because the epic days are few, but even a bad day at Headies will usually output some shade time.
