Indo Jiwa is a surf spot located in Morotai, Indonesia, specifically in the northernmost bay known as Sopi. This area is a solid option for surfers looking to catch some waves due to its consistent north monsoon swells. The spot is pretty famous for being one of the first destinations surfers explored when doing boat trips in the region. Getting here involves a long trek from the village, so it's not as crowded as some other locations, but the surfers that do make it here are usually looking for a quality session.

The surfing at Indo Jiwa offers a fast, powerful ride, mainly breaking right over a shallow reef. For optimal conditions, you want a swell coming from the north, but it can also handle easterly swells. Waves can work at sizes around 2 feet (0.6 meters) and up, so make sure there's plenty of swell in the water. Higher tides are preferable to clear the shallow reef, but mid to high tide is best for the action.
