Overview
Inside Lefts is a relaxed left-hand reef break peeling over live coral, also known as Pussy's. It's a let-your-hair-down performance wall that rewards you with long rides, the kind of easygoing setup that's simple to enjoy.
When It Works
The reef draws swell from southwest through southeast, with south swell the best match. It's a consistent spot that often keeps a rideable wave even when the more exposed breaks in the bay go flat, thanks to solid wind protection. It works from 0.9 m / 3 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft.
Wind and Tide
Look for northeast offshore wind. The reef can work through most of the tide, from low to high, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
This is a beginner-friendly wave, so it's a good pick for surfers finding their feet on reef. Expect a moderately busy lineup when it's on, and count on more company when the main bay is blown out and everyone shuffles over.
