Surf: Nusa Kembangan Island is a nature reserve with a maximum security prison, nicknamed Indonesia's Alcatraz. Visitors go there to enjoy its caves and forest scenery, but the white sand beaches could conceal a few surfable breaks. Jailbreak is an average, often-sectiony, right reef at the eastern tip of the island. Environment: Consistency is a problem, but crowds are not.
