General: Jenness Beach is a generally average beachbreak that offers a peaky, soft, mellow, quiet, meditative surfing experience. Jenness will accommodate a variety of swells and break on all tides, but in general, E swells and mid-tides are ideal. Tides: It tends to be best on incoming. Size: Knee-high to a few feet overhead. Wind: W, NW Swell: NE, SE Bottom: Sand with random rocks. Paddling: 5-mil neoprene is heavy when it’s wet. Spot Rating: We’re all in this together — except you, whippersnapper!
Really good surfers have better things to do.
