Surf: Jinluan Bay is located 6km east of Dongshan Town. Several peaks can be found on this 5km long crescent beach. Rivermouths are located at the centre and on the northern corner of the beach, combing out the sandbars and providing some quality shape. Big winter NE swells are the most reliable, sweeping down behind Taiwan, but any summer E and SE swells also produce surfable waves. Environment: Higher consistency than most spots with the full swell window available. Gets rippy and blown-out, plus the water quality is compromised by the big rivermouth just up the coast.
