Surf: Kennett River will have clean rivermouth peaks in S swells, which favour the rights running up the beach and will handle some N in the wind. Kennett Point is reliably fun in smaller swells at lower tides, offering a mixture of easy walls and peeling sections for most abilities. If this is too sedate for you then head south and search out Boneyards, the best right barrel on the coast. Environment: Gets a crowd on weekends and holidays but the crowd is usually like the wave - mellow.
