Huatulco is the most recent tourist destination developed by the Mexican Government, who are keen to learn from previous mistakes, so modern water and sewage systems will ensure no waste goes into it’s 9 pristine, but waveless bays. La Bocana is a fun beachbreak, great for beginners and the highly sandbank dependant rivermouth is worth a check too.
Fun spot, worth the check since very close to road. Facilities on the beach, great for learners if small. located about 30 minutes straight east of the Huatulco tourist zone.
